Dr. Dominik Schaffner
Founder & CEO, Biogenix
Regenerative Medicine and Longevity Expert | Health Care Entrepreneur
Biogenix was founded by Dr. Dominik Schaffner with a clear vision: to redefine what it means to live better for longer. At the intersection of regenerative medicine, longevity science, advanced diagnostics, and aesthetics, Biogenix stands for precision, safety, and innovation - creating a new benchmark in personalised, doctor-led care.
Dr. Schaffner is a German–Australian medical practitioner and health entrepreneur whose career spans Europe, South Africa, Australia, and the Asia–Pacific. He is a German board-certified Specialist in Orthopaedic and Musculoskeletal Trauma Surgery, accredited in both Germany and Australia. He also serves as Chief Scientific Advisor to the private sector. His expertise covers regenerative and longevity medicine with a focus on PRP, stem cells, exosomes, peptides, cartilage regeneration, tissue engineering, and regenerative aesthetics.
In addition to his clinical and entrepreneurial work, Dr. Schaffner is a Member of the Interventional Orthobiologics Foundation (IOF) and the world’s first Certified Longevity Physician Program. He is part of the MedBridge Global Faculty, a keynote speaker at international conferences, and holds academic attachments with the University of New South Wales and the Technical University of Munich (former).
Through Biogenix, Dr. Schaffner has assembled an international team of experts and built a global brand with state-of-the-art treatment centres in Australia and Asia (upcoming). Dr. Jonathan Herald (MBBS, MSpMed, FRACS (Orth), FAOrthA) is an Orthopaedic surgeon and regenerative medicine specialist whose career bridges elite sports, complex injury management, and cutting-edge biologics. A Sydney graduate with post graduate training at the Mayo Clinic and Mount Sinai hospital in New York, he has spent over 20 years at the forefront of shoulder, elbow, and knee surgery, trusted by Australia’s leading athletes in swimming, NRL, rugby, soccer, and cricket. Over time, his passion for recovery science led him beyond the operating theatre into the rapidly advancing fields of orthobiologics, PRP, cryotherapy, and stem-cell–based strategies.
At Biogenix, Dr. Herald translates this unique background in injury management into personalised programs that accelerate repair, restore performance, and support long-term vitality.
His academic contributions have included serving as a reviewer for medical journals such as the British Medical Journal, publishing research with Olympian Michael Klim on exercise-led recovery and even appearing on the TV show Damage Control with Russell Crowe. He is globally recognised as a key opinion leader in his field. Patients value his rare combination of surgical precision, sports medicine insight, and commitment to evidence-based regenerative care, delivered with the clarity and safety standards that define Biogenix.
Prof. Dr. Philip Schoettle

Prof. Dr. Philip Schoettle is an internationally recognised authority in regenerative medicine and cellular longevity. Based in Munich, Zurich and Dubai he has over a decade of experience pioneering stem cell and orthobiologic therapies for cartilage repair, tendon regeneration, and joint preservation. As part of the founding medical team at Okyanos in the Bahamas, one of the world’s first licensed stem cell clinics, he has treated patients from across the globe with advanced cell-based interventions. In Germany, he established the Ortho Health Center, and the Center for Orthobiology in Zurich, both next-generation clinics dedicated to regenerative orthopaedics, performance optimisation, and preventive longevity strategies.
Prof. Schoettle also developed the PX Health teaching and learning Platform that integrates molecular diagnostics, digital health tools, and regenerative therapies to help health care providers treat their patients better for their biological age and provide first class, scientific proven longevity tools and products. An international lecturer and researcher, he continues to contribute to the scientific advancement of regenerative medicine while collaborating with leading innovators worldwide. At Biogenix, he brings this global perspective and pioneering expertise to Australasia, ensuring patients have access to the same level of advanced, evidence-based longevity care found in the world’s most progressive medical centres. Prof. Dr. Philip Schoettle will be part of the core treating team Biogenix Asia.
